Safety Features of a Baby Stroller
When it comes time to purchase a baby stroller, the first thing you should check for are what safety features it contains. This vehicle will transport your child, so safety should, of course, be of the utmost concern. Safe baby strollers are sturdy baby strollers. Take it for a test drive (without the baby on board), and see how it handles. Can it withstand the weight of a diaper bag on the handles without tipping over? If not, pass immediately on that model.
Also, check for a five-point harness. Three-point harnesses can work for shorter jaunts, but if your child is going to spend any real amount of time in the baby stroller, the five-point is widely considered the best.
Also, make sure it’s comfortable for you to push. If you have to constantly fidget and adjust the stroller, it’s not going to be pleasant for you or your child. Make sure the handlebar falls at a comfortable height for you, and also check to see that it’s not too bulky or heavy for you to easily maneuver.
